Diversity and Inclusion
We’re striving to cultivate a more diverse, inclusive workplace for everyone. All of our people should feel challenged, empowered and excited about building a career at CITI EQUITY
Serving Our Communities
In many ways, 2020 demonstrated just how expansive the concept of community is. From the COVID-19 pandemic to natural disasters and race and gender inequities, the call for service is stronger than ever. In 2019, we launched CITI EQUITY Gives Back, a holistic platform for all volunteerism, gift-matching and grant-giving activities. We want our employees to have more time for community and charitable outreach. That’s why we organize coordinated service opportunities and offer paid time off allowances through our Day of Service program.
Here are some key social responsibility principles:
Ethical behavior: This involves being honest, transparent, and fair in all business practices, and ensuring that products and services are safe and of high quality.
Environmental sustainability: This involves reducing the negative impact of business operations on the environment, such as reducing carbon emissions and waste, and using resources in a responsible manner.
Respect for human rights: This involves respecting the dignity, privacy, and basic human rights of all stakeholders, including employees, customers, and communities.
Community involvement: This involves actively participating in and contributing to the well-being of the communities in which a business operates, such as through charitable donations or volunteer work.
Diversity and inclusion: This involves promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and ensuring that all stakeholders are treated fairly and with respect, regardless of their race, gender, religion, or other personal characteristics.
Corporate governance: This involves ensuring that business practices are aligned with legal and ethical standards, and that decision-making is transparent and accountable to stakeholders.
